C air BREATHER FILTER SERIES
The Type C air filter is suitable for the exhaust of reducers. It maintains a balance between the pressure inside the reducer casing and atmospheric pressure, prevents dirt particles from entering the casing from outside, keeps the oil within the casing clean, and thereby extends the service life of the reducer.
Why is Type C air cleaner required? Analysis of three core functions
Filter impurities and protect core parts of equipment
If the dust, particles, water vapor and other impurities in the air enter the equipment, they will wear the piston, cylinder, bearing and other precision parts like "sandpaper", and even lead to oil circuit blockage and short circuit.
Filtering objects: mainly including solid particles (such as dust and metal chips) with diameter ≥ 1 μ m, liquid water mist and a small amount of oil mist.
Critical scenario: In dusty environment such as mine and construction site, unfiltered air may shorten the service life of equipment by more than 50%, while the high-efficiency filtration media (such as filter paper, sponge and activated carbon) of C-type filter can intercept more than 90% impurities.
Maintain system pressure and improve operation efficiency
The amount of air sucked in by equipment, such as air compressors, and cleanliness directly affect the output power:
If the filter is blocked or the filtration efficiency is insufficient, the air intake will be reduced, and the equipment will be forced to "exhaust", and the energy consumption will be increased by 10% - 20%;
Clean air can reduce internal friction, make the engine burn more fully and the compressor produce more stable gas, indirectly reduce the maintenance frequency.
It adapts to specific scenes and meets customized requirements
Type C filters are not generic and "Type C" typically refer to structures (e.g. cylindrical, snap-fit) or adaptors (e.g. branded compressors) and therefore also have scene adaptability:
For example, C-type filters used in food processing equipment will use food grade materials to avoid air pollution caused by filtration media;
Filters used in high temperature environments use temperature-resistant materials such as fiberglass to prevent the filter layers from failing at high temperatures.
It can be seen that the Type C filter performs better in high flow, high pollution environments, and is especially suited for industrial equipment requiring continuous and stable air intake.
