Operating principle and performance characteristics of self-sealing magnetic filter

The working principle of the self-sealing magnetic filter combines two mechanisms:
magnetic adsorption and filter cartridge filtration.
On one hand, the built-in permanent magnet generates a strong magnetic field to absorb the ferromagnetic impurities in the oil, which can accurately filter the ferromagnetic particles above 1 micron in the oil. During the operation of the equipment, these ferromagnetic impurities may cause wear to the precision hydraulic components and affect the normal operation and service life of the equipment. The magnetic adsorption function can effectively solve this problem. On the other hand, the filter elements intercept and filter other solid particulate contaminants in the oil. When the oil flows through the filter element, impurities larger than the filter element diameter are blocked out, so as to purify the oil and ensure that the cleanliness of the oil entering the system meets the requirements.
Self-sealing magnetic filter has many performance characteristics, including the following aspects:
Convenient and efficient self-sealing function: the design of manual self-sealing valve makes the filter element replacement easy and simple. There is no need to drain the oil tank like the traditional filter, which not only reduces the waste of oil but also reduces the risk of environmental pollution. Meanwhile, the labor intensity of operators is greatly reduced, the maintenance time is shortened and the maintainability of equipment is improved.
Precise and reliable magnetic adsorption: it can effectively absorb ferromagnetic particles in the oil, playing an important role in protecting the hydraulic components from the wear of magnetic particles. By reducing the wear of components, the service life of hydraulic components is extended, the maintenance cost of equipment is reduced, and the stability of system operation is improved.
Timely alarm for filter element blockage: A filter element pollution blockage indicator is provided. When the filter element is blocked by pollutants and the vacuum degree at the oil outlet reaches 0.018MPa, the indicator will send a signal in time. This function reminds the user to replace or clean the filter element in time to avoid pump suction and other failures due to excessive blockage of the filter element, so as to ensure normal operation of the system and prevent equipment damage.
Flexible and diverse installation modes: can be directly installed on the side, upper or bottom of the fuel tank. The suction cylinder intrudes below the liquid level in the oil tank, and the filter head is exposed outside the oil tank. This flexible installation position selection can meet the space layout requirements of different equipment and systems, and facilitate maintenance and overhaul.
