QLS WATER-ABSORBING BREATHER FILTER
Water pollution in hydraulic oil is no less harmful than solid particles, and water infiltration mainly occurs through the vent of the oil tank.
The liquid level in the oil tank may change at any time during the operation of the hydraulic system. When the liquid level drops, moist air will enter the oil tank, and a part of the water vapor in the air will dissolve directly into the oil. Another part of the water vapor will condense into water droplets when it encounters the lower temperature oil tank wall and enter the oil. This type of moisture absorbing air filter is specially designed for the above situation, which can effectively prevent moisture from entering the oil tank and improve the working performance and reliability of the hydraulic system.
QLS water-absorbing breather filter has the following three characteristics
- The transparent shell makes it easy to see the color changes caused by changes in the moisture absorbent state.
- A closed structure that directly exhausts air into the atmosphere without passing through a moisture absorber, extending the service life of the moisture absorbent.
- Low cost, and the moisture absorbent can be reused after drying to reduce maintenance costs.
The working principle of this type of moisture absorbing air filter is shown in the diagram. The dry absorbent appears blue, and after absorbing moisture, the color becomes lighter and gradually turns red until it becomes light red. When the moisture absorbent turns pink, it is almost saturated and should be replaced or dried before use.
When replacing, you can hold the lower part of the moisture absorber and loosen and remove the bottom plate, then unscrew the four cover nuts to open the upper cover and replace the moisture absorber.
The moisture absorbent can be dried in an oven at around 150 ℃, and can be reused when it turns blue.
Attention: Do not use broken moisture absorbing agent particles again.
