The DAB water-absorbing breather air filter
The DAB series moisture absorbing breather air filter is mainly used for air moisture absorption and filtration in fuel tanks. Its working principle is that first, when the air passes through the desiccant, moisture is absorbed. After passing through the desiccant, solid particles in the air are removed when passing through the air filter element. This can effectively prevent water and solid particles from entering the oil tank due to the pressure difference caused by the rise and fall of the liquid level and thermal expansion and contraction, effectively improving the working performance and reliability of the hydraulic system and extending the service life of the oil and equipment.
Here are the instructions for using DAB:
The dry absorbent appears blue, and the color of the absorbent becomes lighter and gradually turns red until it turns pale red. When the absorbent turns pink, it has reached saturation and should be replaced or dried before use.
- To replace the moisture absorbent, simply remove the air filter.
- The moisture absorbent can be dried in an oven at around 150 ℃, and can be reused when it turns blue.
Attention: Do not reuse broken moisture absorbing particles.
